If you put the new mod in a separate folder, you can launch the game and decide if you like it or not. In the Mods folder, create a Mods Tutorial and move all of the package files from the downloads folder into the Mods Tutorial folder. You can locate the downloaded files on your computer and then manually move them to The Sims 4 Mods folder. There is nothing in the Mods folder for people who don't have it yet. Once you have launched the game with mod enabled, the Mods folder will be generated inside the Sims 4 folder. The mod's folder can be found after launching The Sims 4 and enabling mod's.
